 KINABATANGAN RIVER IN SABAH

Kinabatangan River is one of the most interesting nature safaris available in Sandakan, Sabah Borneo. Located just two hours out of Sandakan town, the Kinabatangan River stretches over 560 kilometers and is the second longest river in Malaysia and the longest in Sabah. Kinabatangan is also well known for its remarkable wildlife and fascinating habitats found throughout the sanctuary.

The Kinabatangan River Wildlife Sanctuary spreads across 26,000 hectares (260 sq km) along the lower Kinabatangan river in Sabah and this river plain floods easily creating five distinct habitats to support an enormous bio-diversity of wildlife. The World Wildlife Fund states that the Kinabatangan River in Sabah, Borneo, is one of only two known places on Earth where 10 primate species can be found. This includes the Borneo Orangutan, the Proboscis Monkey, Macaques, Maroon Langur and Bornean Gibbon, most of which are endemic to Borneo. 

You can also expect to see Crocodiles, Monitor Lizards, Civet Cats, Hawks, Eagles, Hornbills, Kingfishers and much more. if you are very lucky you can encounter the Borneon Pygmy Elephant feeding on the edge of the Kinabatangan River. As well as the animals and bird life you can also spot many insects, reptiles and amphibians including snakes, frogs and stick insects. For knowledge purposes, the origin of the name 'Kinabatangan' was derived from Kina (China) and Batang(large river).

On  my recent trip to Kinabatangan in December 2009,  I was totally amazed on how there was so much interesting wildlife available in just one small area. With the support from Sabah, I made my way to Kinabatangan with my knowledgeable nature guide Ben and upon arrival at the local village jetty in Sukau, our boat had arrived to ferry us to our resort - Bukit Melapi Proboscis Lodge which is located along the banks of the Kinabatangan River.

The boat ride was enjoyable as it only took us about ten minutes to reach our Eco-lodge. Along the way, you see the River People (Orang Sungai) homes along the Kinabatangan River and they are spaced out very well. There are about six to seven lodges along the river where they too are quite a distance from one another.

In my conclusion  is  It was an eye opener for me. As a Malaysian, I never knew that we had so much to see and explore in our own backyard. You must be a nature  lover to fully appreciate this visit and children are best brought here to expose them to the wildlife of Borneo.

Scientists are beginning to develop “exercise pills” that show some potential, according to two published in the journal Trends in Pharmacological Sciences and another small study published in the journal 

“Everyone’s looking for a pill to replace exercise, but we’re just not there yet,” says the first study’s co-author Ismail Laher, professor in the department of anesthesiology, pharmacology and therapeutics at the University of British Columbia in Canada. “It’s not going to make a couch potato into Arnold Schwarzenegger.”

So-called “exercise pills” are made from compounds that have been shown mostly in studies done in animals to mimic one or more of the effects of exercise, like developing new blood vessels, forming new mitochondria in cells or increasing the body’s capacity for exercise. “They’ll let you get muscles that are stronger and faster and reach your exercise goals much quicker,” Laher says.

But no single pill can reproduce every benefit exercise has on the body. Popping an exercise pill won’t flood you with endorphins, for instance, while also making your bones stronger. speeding up the blood flow through your arteries and making your heart beat faster, Laher says. “It’s a very small slice of the pie.”

What exercise pills can do is largely localized to muscles, the new review finds. “You’re increasing efficiency of ATP, the currency by which every cell goes about its daily life

Neymar Da Silva Santos Jr. as known as Neymar Jr is my fovourite player. Born on February 5, 1992, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is a talented player who was make impressive soccer abilities at an early age. He play as a striker or centre forward position in his team. He is already winning four straight Player of the Year awards while becoming one of Brazil's most popular public figures. 

My idol player first club is Santos Fc. He made his senior debut for the club in 2009 and earning the league's Best Young Player award. In 2010, neymar was helping Santos claim the league and Copa do Brasil championships. That season, he also made his debut for Brazil the senior national team and debuted a mohawk style haircut which quickly became popular among younger fans.

In 2011, neymar was critized for his play during Brazil's quarterfinals loss in the Copa America tournament. In the same year, Neymar lead Santos to its first Copa Libertadores championship after 48 years.

In 2012, Neymar scored his 100th professional goal on his 20th birthday in 2012 and finished the year with 43 goals. Unfortunately, even his club won third straight league tittle, Neymar was critic again when Brazil lost the 2012 Summer Olympic gold medal game after beaten by Mexico team.

In may 2013, Neymar announced  with a transfer move from Santos Fc to Barcelona Fc where play at Spain. Barcelona Fc is a club that was become his dream team to play. Barcelona Fc is a powerful football club and player with a player like Lionel Messi ,Suarez and several members of the Spanish national team. In this year, Neymar leading his national team to victiry in the Confederations Cup.

In 2014 world cup, Neymar perfomance was shined. This year was very disapointed moment to Neymar beacause his got injured after breaking a bone in his back by defender Zuniga in quarter final match against Colombia. While Neymar cannot play ,Brazil's hope for the World Cup tittle was dashed after his lovely team lost their semifinal match to Germany.

Year after year, Neymar continues to show a sharp increase in his game. He continued to show maturity and intelligent while playing. Neymar is a very talented player. That is the reason why he became my idol player.
